Family Values Matter—In School and at Home
Families are the foundation of our community—and they are the foundation of education.
Long before a child ever walks through the doors of a school, learning begins at home. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are a child’s first teachers, instilling values, work ethic, respect, and a love of learning. That foundational role should never be diminished or left behind once children enter the school system.
I am a strong advocate for family values, and I firmly believe that families must remain active partners in education at every stage. Our schools are strongest when families are engaged, involved, and valued.
Communication Builds Trust
Open, honest communication between schools and families is essential. Parents deserve to be informed, heard, and respected. When schools and families communicate effectively, students benefit—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Family Input Matters
Families know their children best. Their insights, concerns, and ideas are critical to making sound decisions that truly serve students. A healthy school system listens to parents and welcomes their perspectives as part of the decision-making process.
Involvement Leads to Success
When families are involved—helping with homework, attending school events, partnering with teachers—students are more confident and more successful. Family involvement creates a sense of shared responsibility and community pride in our schools.
If elected to represent the 4th District on the Bradley County School Board, I am committed to fostering a culture where families are welcomed as partners, not spectators. I will advocate for transparency, collaboration, and policies that put students and families first.
Our children deserve a school system that reflects the values of the community it serves—right here in Bradley County.
Faith. Family. Fairness.
Putting our children and community first—always.
